Okay, after searching the forum for possible fixes and not finding any, I'm going to post this.
Some, only some mind you, of the text in FS2_Open 3.6 and the FS2_Open_ex build is appearing in the wrong places. Namely, debriefing text appears offset down and and to the right, mainly down. However, I can only scroll down as far as the debriefing should normally go, so I cannot see all the text. I have no idea how much of it I miss, on average. I can infer from reading what I can see, however, that about one short word's worth of text is appearing, or rather not appearing, off the right side of the debriefing box.
In-mission, the support ship status text and damage-type/missile-incoming/missile-evaded text appears slightly below and very far to the right of where it should, though the little boxes it normally appears in are in the right spots.
All other text in the game works correctly so far as I can see.
I've suffered this for a few weeks now, and it's finally gotten to the point I just can't stand it anymore. Somebody tell me what's wrong, please?

What OS?
What vid card?
Driver version?
OGL or D3D?
Got screenies?
System Specs?
-
Windows XP Home Edition.
No clue. Not something I've not bothered to remember, normally don't have problems.
Again, I have no clue.
D3D.
I could take them, but lack of places to put them would be a problem. My Ripway account's giving me enough trouble as it is...
Let me go check that...

If you need to know your vid card, go to your screen settings, (where you set the resolution), and click advanced. Go to "adapter", and search for keywords like "Geforce" "Radeon" "TNT" "ATI" "nVidia" and stuff.
As for screenies. kasper - loopstra at het net . n l
(remove screenies, at=@, nothing over 2MB, gimme a day or two to upload)
-
what resolution are you running in?
-
Turn off AA, turn on fix font distortion problem?
My guess.
My brother has the same problem.

Try changing your resolution, may be you have 1024 without sparky_hi.vp installed.

52.16 is a very old NVidia driver version and has had many problems with other games in the past.
The latest NVidia WHQL forceware driver is 61.77
There are newer but some are manual installs.
