its was a total fluke, the best I managed since then was around 13000
I got slo-mo first, then later invincibility, just as things were speeding.

edit: the trick is to play it conservatively, stay near the centre and hope for some good power-ups. You can get 10,000 easy that way, 15000 on a good round and more if you're lucky.
