Right here! (http://www.half-life2.com/hl2.php)
-
Hmmmm. It's a bit hard :D
-
I hope the real game is like this. It should keep install sizes down.
-
amazing.
top nutch graphics and the control are so easy..
-
Game of the Year, no doubt about it.
-
i like the multiple endings
-
Ironically it really *is* better than the finished product will be.
-
:wtf:
-
Care to justify that LS?
-
LS, in the name of GOrDon, why do you say so?
-
this is probably the demo of hl2.
-
Seeing that the game has been delayed a LOT and currently Valve main affair is trying to sue/not get sued by Vivendi... I have to agree with LS.
-
the game will still own no doubt.

He saw one screenshot and took the hull because a pixel was out of place, probably.

It'll be better than Doom 3...

I couldn't care much less about Half-Life 2, I really can't and I don't know why but it probably has something to do with me never playing the first one and all the other crap that's been happening to it. I'll be surprised if it is infact released this year, until then I'll believe it when I see it.
-
Heh
Half life 2 may be delayed by 6 months (http://www.gamespot.com/news/2004/09/24/news_6108100.html)
-
Okay, I was excited about HL2 when I saw some gameplay on X-Play a few months ago. But now I'm just *meh*... Too much has gone by and Valve is being something resembling a bastard about it.
-
If they screw HL I'll put them under contract with DS to develop BC:Crap edition

Played similar stuff in my old 286 (ah, those were the times and games )

I love these sort of quotes, same as the ones about Duke Nukem Forever too and you see people spouting this crap all over the internet all the time. Cause quite frankly, you KNOW you're going to rush out and buy Half-Life 2 regardless of how long it takes and no matter what delays valve decide to do.
-
Well, at least HL2 latest screenshot isn't dated 1999...

Actually, I probably won't. Of course, this is a combination of both lack of a system that could do it justice and lack of money in general. But I probably still wouldn't, the desire just isn't there. Not when I have a half dozen other games higher on my "must buy" list ahead of HL2.

I dunno. I didn't buy Doom3, after all..........

I'm a little confused about Half-Life 2. If I get it, I want to install it on the computer in my room because it has the best specs, but no internet connection. Now if Half-Life 2 uses Steam, is it even possible to use it on a computer with no internet connection?
-
It should if you have the CD...

Of course. It'd have to be, or it'd get a kicking.

Yep. From what I understand, you can download it via Steam and have constant support and updates that come as and when Valve puts them on Steam. Or you can buy the game on CD and update via Steam or patches or something when you need to.
Me, I'm going with CDs. I prefer something "solid".
-
Same here. I want some physical evidence that I have the game, not some lousy Steam cache file.
