I made this texture (more than?) half a year ago. The only problem is that it doesn't look fine when it is used as a tiled texture.
-
That's cos you're edges won't line up and, if they do, it'll look pinched at the join.

What to do to fix?
-
You could add bevels to make it look like a floor tile - then the edges would match...

Now that, is a toughie. Offhand, I'd say to make sure your cloud (?) edges are at something like a 90 degree angle, so it's not drawing to a point. Now, the really iffy - but often only way - is simply to manually tile it. i.e. create a new image 4 times the size of that, paste it in, mirror it and paste the mirrored copy at the side, etc - i.e. making sure the edges line up. Problem is that it can look contrived, and any shadows you have are going to be screwed up.

there is a soloution to this in photoshop, but as i dont have it open right now, i cant tell you how to sort it out, at some point i will look into and tell you, but right now i really cant be arsed.

If you have a copy of Paint Shop Pro 7 or newer, you can do Selection -> Convert to Seamless Pattern.

in Photoshop 7 there is a pattern maker.

I can hardly understand this feature. :doubt:
It changes my whole image!
