I am having some trobble with the converting of a warship. When i convert it all the turrets are all in the centre of the hull. I am using modleview32 to convert.
anyone got any understanding as to why this is happening.
this is the ship by the way.

It did have a real bad texture job on it. but it was so bad i couldn't bring myself to show anyone else.
EDIT:
Also having trobble with this one too. same problem.

Have you tried PCS? I've never bothered with modelview and I don't know of anyone who has either :D

Make sure you have the axis centered in each turret-object, and the local light embedded in the turret-subobject.
I sometimes have similar problems with LODS, but a correct placement of the axis does solve this problem normally.

Thank you both very much. PCS converts them well and i find modleview more effective for subsystems and so on. Thank you both for your help

use model view's render and PCS to actually input the data (both open at once).
Looks like the Termninator/T2 flying HK's from the front. Probably too many turrets IMHO though

The top one doesn't acctualy belong to any of the main races. The only document to be found on it is that it has been drifting as a floating hull for over a melenia. Its weapons are mostly very weak beams (anti cap is roughly equivolant to out AAAF). So to Compensate they had lots of them.
Being floating of over a melenia it is very old. Dating back to a Shivan war before the Ancients. Hull wise it may be the salvation of th GTVA
