My friend has a extra copy of both FS 1 (with ST) and FS 2 (The interplay anniversary edition ) He's planning to sell both as a set on ebay. Considering you can basically download the game now how much do you think the two will fetch? (Maybe collectors would be interested?)
Oh yeah, the cds are mint. New and perfect :)
-
I've seen them going from $20 to $60 depending on condition- but that was before the underdogs put it back up.

*Perks up ears*
Mint? Are they unopened? As in, factory sealed? I'd looove to have an unopened copy to put on my shelf....
-
Yup its factory sealed never opened but the bad news is. My friend sold it already (went for 60 USD) just this morning to a friend.
Sorry :(
-
Oh. Ah well, I'll keep looking.
-
boy was I supreised to see ST:Armada 2 goin for $55 on ebay
-
60 bucks thats not bad. Yet another proof that FS frechise is still alive and kicking :D

He's too busy playing Freespace at the moment. Maybe when he snaps out of it :)

Why on earth would anyone keep an unoppened copy?? Unless he had another copy to play around with, it would be almost heresy to have a copy of FS2 and not play it...
-
Oh, I smell another 'rape and pillage' trip coming.
Err...not that we've ever had that kind of trip before.
We certainly never did anything to any former HLPeople. And those hookers were dead long before Stryke got his hands on them.

ALL my copies are opened. Rather I saved 6 copies from going into the GRINDER! Plus some extras (like 21 copies of disk Three and 12 copies of disk One) JUST BECAUSE I might scratch one for pete's sake!
Sometimes it's good to be in the "CD industry" even as a temp...
-
Same here. I made backups of my Freespace 2 disc and use that instead of the originals (where I keep in a nice safe storage to keep it in perfect condition)
I doubt they will be making more of those in the near future. :)

Is there any way I can snag one of those copies from you?
