Anyone up for arranging a few games of, well, something sometime?
Offhand, there's CoD:UO*, UT2004, Trackmania, Jedi Academy, I-War2 or either Serious Sam games which I could play..... we could either hi-jack a server, or someone could host if they have a good enough connection. Oddly, I'm not keen on FS2 (probably because i'm utter crap now), but I'd be willing to give it a shot.
I'd be willing to try running a non-dedicated server, but I only have 256 upstream, so we'd be limited to about 4 players max and there'd possibly be a bit of location-determined lag problem. I do, at least seem to have a static IP. Which is odd, as I never asked or paid for it.
Or can someone,er, 'persuade' GS to allow HLP a games running-server or access to one?

just find a UT2k4 server thats playing onslaught. and make sure it has the new vehicles.

Freelancer? I recomend the **Uk_server**, always good for a laugh, but beware Chilly, for he shall smite thee(and me an awful lot)

A HL1 mod called :The Specialists is great fun. It's only 80 megs, plus an HL1 key, which in turn is only 10 euro.
Mind, you need a working instance of Steam, and that's anything from 2 hours to a few century's.

Right now I can play CoD:UO and UT2k4.
I suck at both though.
