I personally believe this is highlight worthy material.
Now, lets do that Thunderbolt... ;7

Eh...I hate to ask, but what is that?
-
Interesting... A Breifing background?
-
woah, awesome.
-
Babylon 5 Aurora Starfury... Those of you who downloaded R2 and played will notice the difference.
-
Am I totally wrong here, or is this looking quite a bit better than in the series?
-
Except for 3d cockpits you may not be far from the truth. In one of the DVD featurettes, one of the 3d guys was saying that games today have better graphics today than they did when they first produced Babylon 5.
-
Amazing. Is that a 3D briefing?! Can't be...no...no...
-
looks like a reworked techroom

yes I do read. Obviously, its an ingame model, I'm just trying to figure out where you took the screenshot, it looks like the techroom.

Ah... sorry. It just sounded like you thought that I had made some cool new techroom background and am posting screenies for that.
-
have you people never played TBP!? :wtf:!!!?
-
Is the number 02 suppossed to be mirrored on that second Starfury?

Wow, that's cool.

Its not. Its "20" and is read correctly when you are looking at the StarFury from behind it.

Ok, then the '2' is mirrored. If it's 20, then the bottom dash on the 2 should point towards the 0, not towards the wings.
-
Why is it posted on the General Discussion shouldn't this be in Freespace modding or Freespace General?
-
Ah, your right, I'll have to fix that.
-
Guys, it's a bunch of the Bab 5 starfuries in the tech room, using the shadow build.
-
Isn't Kazan working on a new physics engine for this? Something that will allow that neat trick when the Whitestars spin around while still coasting forward?
-
...which is sorta already do-able by playing with the tables.
-
He mentioned something about re-writing the physics entirely. Better control of drift and whatnot. Hit your afterburners, spin around, blast away.

How?
-
rotdamp i think... just hit control-f and type wing commander in the ships table, and you'll find it...
-
Wing commander?
-
There's a comment along the lines of 'set this 0 to have no wing commander physics' or something.
-
Interesting... I'll have to look into this...

I said nothing of the such
perhaps you're confusing ferrium plans with fso plans
-
But since Ferriums a long ways away, we need to find ways to simulate real physics in FSOpen. I'll definitely have a look at the rot_damp stuff.
