Title: Trojan Warning And Work Around

I am trying to install release 2.  It didn't run correctly, so I: Updated my video card drivers (main campaign works perfect). Uninstalled FS2 and then reinstalled it ==>updated it ==> installed the "full" release 2 files ==> installed the speech patch==>then downloaded and tried to install the work around patch.  

However when I run the workaround Trojan Hunter gives me a warning about: TrojanDropper.Interlac.100

What gives????

I can assure you there are no viruses, worms, trojans or other malware in the original files.

It is most likely a false alarm since all files are .vp files which makes it pretty much impossible to be a trojan. Or then you happened to download the workaround from other than official download location, which makes it a possibility that it was altered to include a trojan.

To make sure, I ran a virus scan to full R2 install, speech patch and the workaround. No alarms.
