Title: Iraq : lost missiles
Post by: mitac on November 06, 2004, 12:04:13 pm
Here (http://www.nytimes.com/2004/11/06/politics/06weapons.html)'s the news.

Well, anybody want to celebrate the New Year in Iraq? They're sure preparing for some nice fireworks, thinking of the 300+ tons of explosives that vanished some time ago. :nervous:

Meh, they can add to the pile of Stingers left over from Afghanistan.....it's inevitable the 'small arms' like assault rifles, RPGs, etc from the Iraqi arms dump would/have been looted or simply taken home and sold by deserters.

Old as in the news is old, but it was only reported recently, and incorrectly.
