Title: In-game Cutscene

I was just thinking about the trailer for freespace 2 and realized that some of the shots were made without the HUD... Then I got to thinking about HW, HW:CAT, HW2, St:Armada(1&2), and a great many other games that have in-game cutscene. Just a thought but is there a chance that you guys could be able to make a cutscene sexp. I though about using the ai use player-ships, but that would mean that the player's ship would have to rotate or be at a presise point. This would limit the abilities of the cutscene then i thought of having a camra sexp variable that would control a camra while it gose along a set of way points. The waypoints would have to be designated and sets of waypoints would alow the camra to go from place to place. The same varialbe that can control the camra when the supernove command or the external camra view is activated could be used in a free movement from, like in HW2 and ST:Armada. I just thought it would go along with the cutscene idea that Lynx had... anyway there is my idea.
