Would someone be able to explain exactly what each of the engine wash lines actually do?

$Angle: 10.0
$Radius Mult: 1.2
$Length: 400
$Intensity: 1.0

you can add different enginwash charactoristics for different ships. engine wash affects ship damage but not actuall engine thrust effects. if you have a big ship with a bigger engine you could add new ones. if ya want more damage from them then up the intensity.

I was talking more about the what the $Angle and $Radius Mult actually do as i cant see to work that one out.

angle is probably the angle of the cone of engine damage, radius mult i have no idea, probably a multiplier of radius to act on engine wash without affecting glow size

they dont have anything to do with glow effects, those are specified in the pofs (new style engine glows i dont have a clue where they are defined). id asume $Radius Mult: 1.2 affects damage falloff. but thats just a guess

Complete guess, but;
Angle; radius of the wash 'cone' outwards (ala fov on turrets, etc)
Radius mult; how much the radius increases each m(?) outwards, multiplication factor. Or possibly using the glow size from the pof to calculate a logical inital size of the wash cone (i.e. so it's not just radiating out from a sharp point but a flattened cone)
Length; obvious
Intensity; probably affects the camera 'shake' when in a wash

geez the worst engine wash is from that ship in Sol A History Tereus i thnk it was called? Thing would boucne you around forever
