How do you change the color of a ships hull? I want to change the color on the rebel Orion destroyer for my mission.

Make...textures? I dunno, honestly. Seems like it'd be a simple matter for someone like Raa or DaBrain or Lightspeed to explain, though.

For something fugly, you can do a hue shift.  Unless it's subtle, it looks like ****e though.

I'm no genius on these matters, but if you wanted to change it significantly you would probably have to do a whole retexturing of it

if you want to do any change at all your going to have to retexture it, if you are working with FSO (like you should be) this isn't as big of a problem as it used to be.

Easy to do...

Find the texture the ship in question uses. Copy tham and re-name them to be differnt.
Use one of Photoshops many function to change the colors (you have that with the RBG sliders where the whole colour scheme is changed).

sopy the ship pof, re-name it, and in PCS replace the texture names with your own...
