Title: Joystick?
Post by: Beowulf on November 18, 2004, 10:30:23 pm
Hello all, it's been a long time.

I installed 3.6, but my joystick wont bind in the game. I have a Microsoft  Sidewinder Precision Pro running on Windows 2000. Any possible fixes? The joystick is detected and can be selected in the Launcher. I've tried the ports offered.

Thanks,

Which build are you using? The old 3.6 or the newest one?

Nevermind, thanks anyway. I guess the Precision Pro never worked well with win 2k anyways. The latest drivers are for 95 and 98.

It works fine in XP, if you have a copy of that lying around.

FreeSpace Open is still better with Win98, as far as i can see. It is too bad I cannot play Doom 3 with it. :mad2:
