I was enjoying a competitive game of risk 2210 the other day when a striking idea came to me, I thought that it would be cool to impliment a freespace version or space version of risk. This would allow you take the roll of command rather than being a pilot in battle, deploy your fleet manage your funds and buy technologies while maintaining that fs feel. It would also be neat to see the fs ships as little pieces of plastic :) Just a though.

Shouldn't be that hard. Blow up a node map so it takes up 4 sheets of paper, print it out, and make up modified versions of the Risk cards for the systems, and you're done.

edit: oops, wrong button.

When I played a game of Risk 2210 I wrote a novel about a war in Russia. (Sci-fi, in 2210) It actually turned out pretty good, and is halfway done at 50 pages. If anyone wants to read it, please drop me a PM or something.
