Compensation? How the **** are they supposed to make recompense for killing his family?

I knew the whole compensaten thing was going to be used against us as soon as someone wrong got killed.
this is almost the exact scenario I figured would come out.

The question is why did you know this would happen when people found out? ;)

becase "Compensation? How the **** are they supposed to make recompense for killing his family?" is such a damning statement and it is unavoidable that a few tragities would happen to allow the statement to be said.

It's a rock and a hard place, alas. :(

Media both expands and reduces our view of the world. In somes ways, we grow, because we become more aware of terrible things such as this. In other ways our view becomes tainted because of exactly the same thing.

Buggered if I know what we can do about it, mind :(

Ah, so this is what Rumsfeld meant by "US Marines will be using Accuracy and Precision..."

We kill 1400+ insurgents and effectively remove Fallujah as a threat....

...and this is all the news comes up with. Pathetic.

Yeah, I'd have thought the media would have focused on the security crisis across the rest of the country first..........

Aid is finally flowing into Falluja, following the heavy US-led offensive that began nearly three weeks ago to wrest the city from rebel control.

But a spokesman says it is feared more than 6,000 people could have died in the assault and thousands of families are in critical need of assistance.

That'd be about 5* the number of insurgents killed, then.  Assuming that the insurgents were all originally insurgents and didn't include the people who decided to fight after the Fallujah mosques calls to resist.
