Hello,
I remember some discussions about bumping up the number of
wingman-entries in message.tbl
Has there been any progress ?

No.... I'm sure non-HLP hosted peeps are turning up. Technically you could include me in that; I'm only in under CoW as a banner of convenience.

I could sneak you in as MG staff ;) Actually considering that you're one of the gang-of-three currently upgrading the graphics and that you're heavily involved in testing the EFF format you should be allowed in anyway.

Most of my requests will be for the Starfox mod anyway. ;)
But they have time, we're nowhere near beta stage.
And my english is too bad when it comes to technical term, as I never used them. So it'd be pretty hard for me to explain what I want. :)
I think it's better to have Killfrenzy or Axem take part on the meeting on IRC.

Interesting. Is this true ? For the demo I need only 10 wingman, 3 more than now available. This isn't enough for the main-campaign though, but there is still time until this will get actual :)

No one has bumped the number of personas in general. It's 13 right now in a regular build but 25 in an INFERNO build. I don't really see a reason it can't just be 25, it's not wasting much memory, less than 1K total.

This sounds promising. For the demo I get away with 10 wingman (+ additional entries for capships). I only need the wingmans in the first place, because I need generic voices (mostly "deaths").
However, for the main-campaign there should be 20+ wingman.

Currently there are 7 wingman, and some big and support-ships.
Is it possible to delete the Support-ship entries, and add additional wingman instead ?
Also, wenn I make another wingman-entry, is it necessary to edit all other generic-lines, or can I do only one (namly "death, I need only this).

Hmm, it appears that the limit has been reseted in the new EXEs...
Remembering that you bumped up number of personas in the message.tbl I have started adding additional 4 pilots to the flight roster.
Now, I can start the game with the incomplete tbl with the test EXE WMC provided, but never builds seem to have the old limit, they CRASH the game.
Now, I would like to know, if those changes were submitted to the CVS.

I noticed as well that the persona increase never got to CVS. At the very least it will be increased to 25 for 3.6.5 so if that's not enough speak now.

Now, this is not fair . To stand corrected : I only shared this to Tolwyn, since he is the project-leader and it was necessary. :) (Normally I'm trustworthy in keeping things privat.)
@Tolwyn : You sure it is enough ? 7 wingman are only meant for death-scream, the rest are real actors.
