Title: fs2 voice actors question
Post by: Terminator on November 28, 2004, 09:43:10 pm
Who played the voice of Lt. Cmdr. Snipes. Some sites say it's Jason Scott and others say Stephen Baldwin.

What say you?

The answer, in case you get tricked by IMDB, is Jason Scott.

IIRC, several people have written to IMDB to correct their listing, but they haven't responded.

I recognized him in ID4 as Admiral Petrarch...and couldn't get him outta my head as such. I kept waiting for him to say something about blockading the Gamma Draconis jump node or summat.

What I didn't even notice was Ronny Cox as Bosch....

SciFi just aired the episode of Stargate SG-1 where Cox's character, Senator Kinsey, gets shot. Somehow, that made me feel good inside....

Whenever I re-watch ID4 I keep hoping to hear,

"Mr President we must attack the Shivans NOW!"

What's more, the voice for the Colossus cutscene, Kurtwood Smith, is the Federation President in Star Trek: The Undiscovered Country

Cox's character is such a douche that its great seeing him get shot anyway. I played FS2 before I watched SG-1 and I always expected him to go off about "the motives behind his madness" or something like that.
