Title: Source for topic-sorted avi files?
Post by: aldo_14 on December 02, 2004, 09:55:13 am
I'm working on a little montage project for the hell of it; does anyone know of a catagorised site where avi files are available (news footage principallY)... I relaise i could use emule for this, but I want to be able to keep a uniform file resolution and have some proper keyword searching.

Ooh, I've been looking for something like this, but didn't know what to ask for.

EDIT: I've found a few sites offering stock footage, but you've got to pay for it.

EDIT2: If you need any footage of military vehicles, then there's always this.

They're wmv, though, and some of the music is very dodgy. Like the Hawaii Five O theme in a T-90 video.

Music doesn't matter.... I'm intending to trim it to fit a specific soundtrack.

Albeit I need to get an AVI editor as well, and a bunch of other crap...

I was looking for this exact thing like a year ago. Too bad it never occured to me to ask here.

Oh well, live and learn.
