Title: hotmail kablooie?

since yesterday i havn't been able to get into my hotmail account and every freaking time i try i get the error in the screen that i am linking to. any help please. it just has to go down when i have very important emails in there lol

Working fine for me...I just got upgraded to the 250MB version too.

Eh...seriously though? I had that a while ago too. It's some bug with the hotmail server, try again in a few hours and it should be okay.

You don't use gmail?

If you havn't already done so try logging in "manually" by entering both address and password instead of "sign in as ****@hotmail" or automatically remember password thing.

Speaking of GMail, everybody else seems to be getting dozens of invitations, and yet I haven't received a single one?  What service do I have to subscribe to to get an invitation.  I mean one of my own, not one somebody gives me.

Ok, it works like this.  A select group got onto a beta testing list and got their own accounts.  After a while, google gave them the ability to invite others to help test the service.  They got accounts, and when they got the ability to invite...well, lets just say the cycle keeps repeating.

Now, I have 10 invites at my disposal.  If anyone that doesn't have a gmail account wants one, send me an e-mail.

Or bug me over IM (info is in my profile).  Accounts are first come, first serve.

silverwolf: To answer your question, more than likely they were doing some routine maintenance on the server(s) and they had to be taken offline.  This usually doesn't take more than a few hours, depending on if they find anything bad or not.

I just checked mine a few hours ago. Was fine.

well its been down for about 24 hours now about ready to do another overnighter this is really starting to get frusterating i guess as soon as i can get my hotmail working i'm gonna switch everything to my yahoo account. and yes i did try to log in manually i even went as far as to delete my cookies and temp files

and i do have gmail i just don't use it much and not much stuff it routed through it at the moment
