Damn, really good work. I really wish I would know how you guys do that :) (The second one should be a little less bright IMO, but still it looks good)
(I'm only wondering why nobody is making a ring-planet, maybe a blue one *hint, hint* :p

The reason why the second one is so bright is because it is lighteraly covered with fire on the daytime side, its a planet from the movie chronicles of riddick, and thx :)

Absolutely fantastic. The second pic is also good, if it is like Murcery a planet very close to the sun. The only downside is if the sun's color is blue red etc the second pic would not work. You might want to consider lowering the brightness or providing a colored hue for each major color so it can be adapted with the sun hues in FS2.
