truely a notion that he and the current government doesnt really give a damn about the troops.
after reading this, the only thing that comes to mind, when rumsfeld said, "were tryin to push the manufacturers as fast as humanly possible" to make bulletproof class, armor and such to reinforce there chances of survival, is, in WW2 god damned Newport News shipyards was producing Aircraft Carriers and Destroyers at almost 1 every four hours, or 2 a day!
dont tell us theyre going as fast as they can with the modern technology and computerized systems to automate the process!
if this was a fullscale ww2like war, i bet there would be no trouble in gettin the 10cent bullet to be made instantly like before.... got damn lyin ass "replucicans"...

Good equipment will help survival, there's no doubt of that. There was an interview on radio here not long back, with the widow of one Brit NCO. He had loaned his flak jacket to one of his squad due to shortages, and got sniped later that day, it was pretty sad...:(

During the question-and-answer session, another soldier complained that active-duty Army units sometimes get priority over the National Guard and Reserve units for the best equipment in Iraq.
SHOCKING NEWS AT 11
-
Next thing you know, they'll only be giving all the best mortar ammo to soldiers with mortars!!!!111!1

... you just posted the precisely same article?

They're the same article. No doubt both sites simply put up the Associated Press's release.
-
I know that... It's the feeling of going to FOXNEWS' website instead to that of CNN.
-
Yeah. Cause you wouldn't want to get the news from a reputable source would you

Is that a bit like reading Pravda?
-
Anybody putting faith in Fox News is...nah, I ain't going there.
Of course the current government here doesn't give a crap about the troops. Ask the current President how many times he's visited a Veteran's hospital.
As long as it isn't "their" kids getting blow to hell overseas, big deal. As long as certain persons can start reaping all kinds of dough out of Iraq, it's a good investment. It's all about profit. Anyone who tells you otherwise is retarded.
Amerika. **** yeah.
