I got there late too Also, RL sucks sometimes. Good meeting though, not so much asking for new features but lots of clearing up of problems/thoughts etc :)
-

However, we did hear an earfull about FRED.

I just finished looking through the log and noticed something you may want to "XXXXXX" out. You listed a link for the 365 beta, which shouldn't realy be available yet to just anyone who choses to read the thing. IIRC, the 365 shouldn't be out until mid-month or later, so you may want to censor that link.
*chuckles about how he chose to download it for himself first, then report it*
Later!

I figured I'd post this here. I was testing out the FRED build included in the 365 Beta bundle and encountered an odd error. I placed a ship on the grid, then tried to move it. When I was done moving it and released the mouse button, it vanished. I was stumped until I hit the button that zooms the screen back to show all objects on the grid and found that it had been moved to an extreme distance away in the bottom right corner (top view). This happens with any ship I place. I know this is a BETA, but I thought someone should know. This bug doesn't show up in Goober's 11-06 build.
Later!

My fault. The FRED build was a mix of my unstable FRED code and the CVS fs2_open when it shouldn't have been (meant to work with unstable Linux tree). I must have selected the wrong "Recent Workspaces" and never new it until long after the builds had been posted. I'm making new builds now (clean CVS versions of both) that will be uploaded to the same place later tonight. You'll know if you get the new builds since the zip will contain Inferno builds too.
-
dammit
That was my fault...I know you guys won't distribute the exec right? If you guys want to test it please do. But use the debug build and post your fs.log and error log as well as a dxdiag report please.
I am going to open up testing further to those who are interested about mid week after finals.

I honestly don;t care if more people "test it"
just don't expect it to "work" ;)
As for the address of the IRC server, it's been published over and over again, and there is a direct link to the chat room ON the SCP site...
Come on, do a LITTLE work here...
-
I am just waiting to put something organized together. There are already people testing it out there and have found some issues.
-
;)

Reading through the whole again I realze I did not add much to the conversation. ;)
