I want to mod my PS2 and I just want to know which is better to use.

It's easy as hell, too. Especially if you use an X3.
Also - What the **** are you talking about? For a flip-lid play of pirated games, you need some kind of mod anyways, be it a plug-in box or a modchip. And it's a ***** to do (put in real game, turn on, wait, take out, put in fake, select Go).
Yer better off just getting it chipped.

You don't need a chip with the flip lid. Like with a chip, you just need a boot disk. Also if I get a chip I want a no solder one.

You won't get a no-solder chip. I think there's 1 out for the X-box, but that's the only console chip I've ever heard of that doesn't require soldering.
If you look around a bit, you'll find an almost-no-solder one.
's not even hard chipping them yourself. I did my X-box and it was a piece of piss.
