'PORT-AU-PRINCE, Haiti - Hundreds of U.N. peacekeeping troops stormed a stronghold of ousted President Jean-Bertrand Aristide's supporters on Tuesday, seeking control of areas that have become flashpoints of violence. At least six people were shot. '

The US appears to have a policy of putting their fingers in their ears and humming "la la la la la la la" with regards to haiti. A year or two ago (something like that) there was some kind of uprising that made into the news for a couple minutes then everyone forgot about it.

That was like, 6 months ago, wasn't it? When Aristride was ousted?
