Post by: WeatherOp on December 17, 2004, 11:14:43 pm
Local weather forcasters are sayin a huge snowstorm might hit the south on Christmas Eve. Hurrahh!! But, it is also a prediction, AWWW! So it might not happen. Keeping my fingers crossed. :D :D :D Also maybe as far south as Texas.

It doesn't snow here much anymore because of you ****ing Americans and your insistance that there's no global warming.

Hey, Raa, the South has never had a White Chistmas, you probly have.:) The most snow I have seen happend when the Superstorm came in '93. And I was 4. All I can remember is fallin in a 4 foot snowdrift.::nervous:

And how likely, It may, it may not.  Hopefully it will.

I'm in Noo Yoke! It snowed here the a couple' mondays ago... A friend of mine was in a wreck that day and totalled his car.   And this is in a place where it snows frequently every year. Imagine how many will die in the South where some people haven't ever seen snow, and are going to attempt driving in it. :sigh:

Well, I remember in '93. You couldn't drive in it, it was too deep. Luckly my Dad had a 4 wheel drive truck. That was the storm that shut down the south.

Hmmm... it snowed here ONCE, and that was when I was five. It was a pansy snow too, didn't even stick to the ground.

I should write cracker jokes.

Anyway, it's very likely we could get a pre-christmas snowfall in scotland this week, but get drowned on christmas day itself.

Or so the BBC implied.

Man, for what the latest forcasts say, we could get hit with 6-12 inches of snow. Still keeps fingers crossed.

Same here...

It snows much less since I can remember.  We used to always have a white christmas...or almost always as I remember. Now, nothing.  I'm not a fan of snow...but somethings changed.

Yeah, but from what I've saw the south is cooling down, I remember back 6 years, and hit the 100 degree mark 5 or 6 times a year, but during the past 3, I am not sure we have hit 94.

And the people like me on the forums are going crazy, Snow is on everyone's mind.
