tis my new WIP... not for FS2 in any way, shape or form...
i think it could be a cruiser but im not sure yet...
itll probably end up being a corvette...
im currently out of sleep and ideas for this...
so any opinions and/or critics of this

It's still very basic. But keep trying, and eventually you wil make nicer meshes.

Actually, I was thinking of something more like a cross between a Trebuchet and a Stiletto.

Interesting, but get rid of the prongs, make the entire body fatter and taller, and add more detail. :)

I think adding a single cone to the head of the missile would make it look like ten times better. The back part is perfect but the wings also need some adjustments. Maybe scaling them would help.

i know... im not too keen on the wings... ill render up another mess soon... currently im readin HLP and then im off to test 1 mission and perhaps then will i be able to do soe more work..
ill enlarge the wings and stretch em a litle bit...
umm...yeah do you think i should add spikes to the wings?

UPDATE: remade he wings... added more wings, errm... added something that looks like a cone and decided not to part with engines...

Is this gonna be a missile or a ship? If the former, I'd advise rearanging the forward fins so that they are in "+" configuration, while the rear ones are in "X" configuration. I'd also suggest that the front ones be reduced in size to about half of the rear set. I'd also blunt off the tip of that cone front somewhat.

well... i dunno... probably a ship... but if it gets to be a missile :drevil:...
now people tell me what to put on the ends of the fins?(AKA wings)

as for the spikes i think i could say i'm the lord of all things spiky :drevil:

Anyway, it needs to have SOME form to be an arm of a mech, not some pointy-pointed-pointer-point thingy.

Yeah, I'm usually supportive of fan efforts... but that thing just looks like a bent over tree - and your attitude really isn't improving my opinion of it.
As for "arm of a mech" - look, this entire process works better if you figure out what you're making first, THEN go about modeling it. Try sketching out what you want to make, and then following that. Hoping your 3D art happens to look like something will usually net you sub-par reults.

When i make 3d models i lay out space for all the internal components first, calculating precisly. So all my models are realistic.

I draw my models out to get a rough shape, and just translate that shape into 3D in my head.

i make things on the fly... thats my way and there is no other.
unless you want to make me a modron...
and i didnt specifically precise what its going to be...
you people just assumed that it would be a rocket...
and i know that bent over look sucks... have to change it...

I have decided. it will be a MECH. not some wussy-ass mechwarrior style mech but something more along the lines of a Titan... ill b1tch around with other parts soon... goin off to make some legs :D

Dude, it's a tube with SPIKES. Not a mech arm! You have to actually have some sort of form to call it a part of anything.

that tube-like thing(w/o spikes) is going to be some sort of popup weapon much in the likes of the storm bolter in grey knights armour...
