We can't help you unless we have some kind of symptoms... but initially, try removing as many useless ships as you can (I believe there's still a 130 ships limit) - things like the spacehunk, the Hades, the Comm node, etc. Stuff you wont use.. If that doesn't help, get a brand new table and start adding ships, one by one, and testing after you add each new mod. You'll then be able to isolate the problem to one ship.

Which ships does FRED recognise? If it stops listing ships for example at the Fenris, then the ship after it is faulty(the Hippocrates in the example).

Open your misions in Fred and see what warnings it gives you. Go through them all, though some can be ignored, BUT others should be investigated via FIND command in notepad when you edit the tables. (like a errant subsystem value or weapon somehow parsed wrong or a missing or corrupted ship entry)... Just some of the things that have happened to me...

Also are your exe and Fred paths correct? After changing mods I need to reconfigure the launcher and also open a new mission in Fred and save in the new directory, otherwise I have problems with loading right files... (FS2 opens old campaign or Fred says ship class unknown) ect..

Yes. I use FSPort's tables. All FRED says is that it encountered unknown ship types and all the ships that worked before now show up as ulysses'.

Is it possible that some of your models are missing? FRED complaining about encountering unknown ships is not primarily a tabling problem.

Didn't you happen to rename one of the model files?
