I've said this WAY too much for the last 2 weeks.

Since I'm in a good mood and I am here.

http://oregonstate.edu/~plankerj/FS1movies/

Some of them are in XVid format though seeing as I couldn't find where the DivX ones went to and I had to reconvert them.

Searching is generally quicker than waiting for a reply. If I'm asking for a file I usually run a search cause that way I can have it in five minutes rather than having to wait a whole day for someone to spot my question, reply and then for me to return.

i suppose so but...
well... its easier for me to ask on some forum than search... besides.. dont you think that it could help another member if someone answered that question?

Yes, but it's rude. Shows a lack of respect for other people.

"*I* want this file but expect *you* to go and get it for me."

At the very least, consider this: it may be easier for you not to bother with the search engine, but it's even easier for everyone else just to ignore your request for help.

Maybe he doesn't know the search function of the forum and thinks, that he has to search manually? ;)
