UK weather forecast reckons the North/Mid West will be snowy; I hope so, tis a lot better than more bloody rain :D

We haven't had any real accumulation since '93, then we got about 6". It completely shut down the entire north end of the state for the better part of a week. Of course this is Alabama, there a bread and milk shortage every time the weather guys even think the word snow.

I don't really get the whole sheepshagger thing, I mean surely there are more sheep in the western isles, for instace. A joke about fishing, or the lucrative oil industry would be more relevant.

But then, I know better than to hope for it. We almost never get a serious snow in December.

*= warmer meaning +20 deg F, not warm warm...
