Post by: Swamp_Thing on December 22, 2004, 07:51:14 pm: "Homeworlds" is a project i´m thinking about starting.Since everybody else is pimping their pet projects and stuff, i might aswell!

PS: Don´t close the geocities ad, or the page won´t fully load. Minimize it but don´t close it. And give it time to load, it´s a bit sluggish...

it gives the player a hint of what the Campaign is all about...
like Derelict.............the whole plot is about a derelict...

mind if i steal...i mean...burrow your campaign logo?....it looks cool and i'm too lazy to make one by myself..............

I can tell you that mine preceeds yours by a couple of months at least. You joined HLP in November, by that time my website was already up for over 2 months. I even used the logo as my avatar in Penguin Bomb, as anyone that frequented it knows. But nevermind that.
Just what is your campaign about? Do you have anything done?
As for the name, i really don´t mind changing it, it´s still in concept stage so i might just change it in the end. The deal is the name tells a lot of the plot, as it focus on the destruction of the homeworlds of all the races involved.
What´s the story in yours? You wouldn´t be following the same path, would you?

Because i don´t mind dropping the name, but don´t you dare going even close of my plotline!

no no...
the plot revolves around races and groups of people losing the homeworlds...and that's the cause of the conflicts.....(damn, i have a baaaaaaad english)....
any way.........i really doubt that the plot might be similar...i'm burrowing and mixing ideas from other sci-fi games, and stuff...also burrowing ideas from war-movies...etc...
any way...the final product is quite original...

And the idea of making a campaign focusing the HomeWorlds came up in my mind a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG ago.........say, 18 months...

[you didn't answered my question...i need a logo...but i'm too lazy to make one...and yours is cool...]

That was looong time ago[2001) it was Dr.Zero's project and same time first hlp hosted project i did join in

The project name is simply Homeworlds.

Glad we cleared that out...
