I decided to make a pic for my campaign.

Nice picture! But is it me or are those Sathanas a bit on the thin side?

You did not only resize it, but also stretched the length a little bit, do you? Looks nice, someone should do this with the original Sathanas.

If you make the Sathanas x,y,z sizes= 1,1,1 then the Gigas is 2,2,4.

Whoah...I just read this post again and realized I haven't criticized the art yet. Less I faul to provide usefull feedback, here we go...

I like the placement of ships, good way to show scale. It might be able to use a couple more ships though, just so it looks more like a fleet.

The engine glows are OK, a little spherical maybe but about the right brightness and hue. One problem: The Sathanas has the gun-engine glows, but the Gigas doesn't. Is that intentional?

The haze effect is a little wierd in places- it looks pretty good on the Gigas, but somehow the Sathanas is less shrouded at the back than at the front, even though it's tilted towards the camera.

I personally don't like the nebula colors, but the effect is fairly well done. It could stand to be a little more turbulent, and possibly more red-orange than purple-red. Fires of hell, right?  (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/biggrin.gif)

The Gigas only has the two back engines. The top engine was added after I did the pic so I only included one.

The Sathanas was added after the nebula which explains the less shrouded.

Fires of hell is more to do with the campaign more than the pic.  (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/smile.gif) Big things go boom.

I would continue this pic but I'm working on a FS2 web browser, ICQ skin, Winamp skin, 4 campaigns and mod projects.

Well it works better than my Internet Explorer which crashes every ten minutes or so. Plus I can make a skin for it to get rid of the boring IE look.
