Title: New community project idea...

Hey all :) I was thinking that a pretty interesting project for the entire community to get together on would be the creation of a Hard Light FS2 campaign :)

Here's the idea: We write a script, probably about us versus another forum (I was thinking Relicnews). Each member who wants to participate creates a ship, and it is imported into the game. After that, the campaign proceeds. Hell, it could even be multiplayer :D


Just an idea, probably wouldn't work, but it would be cool! :)

Derek Smart you should know about :-p Do a search.
Relic news is the Homeworld community, which has always been pretty tied with the Freespace community (being that a lot of players share the interests)

Conflicting design ideas...and egos...would probably doom this if we tried to make it.

-not the ships. we make our own ships- or ask someone who can to make them for us if their nice enough :)

however, yes, this would be hard if not impossible. nice idea though :)

I acutally had an idea of making a HLP campaign a while ago, with the original FS2 ships.........

Then i got too busy with MG to FRED it.....:P
