okay, i realise most of you probably don't care, but i've been in hong kong!!
everything is so cheap, you buy stuff practically every time you go out of the house, it's like it's a waste of money if you don't buy stuff. and _everything_ is cheap, including the food, the food is fantastic, you can get an excellent meal for thirty hkdollars, five australian dollars (i don't know any more currency conversions) which is impossible in australia. i got real vcd's (not pirated) for three dollars australian, you can get dvd's for eight dollars aus, and the shoes are, on average, about fifteen dollars aus... it's pretty amazing, at least if you're a girl...
it's really crowded, too. and everyone stays up until past midnight, eating and shopping and singing k- karaoke, going to the movies,- practically anything you can think of. none of the restaurants close before one due to a practice known as 'siu ye'- a meal starting any time past eleven lasting until three in the morning...
well, anyway, that's my christmas and new year. hope you guys have a good one!

8.00 AUD AUD = 6.22654 USD
8.00 AUD = 3.21387 GBP

That cool, I don't like crowds(I'm petrified of them actually), so I'll likely never venture there. It does sound like a shoppers paradise though.

I wanna go there to buy car parts for my teg. I hear that the JDM front end is real cheap there, directly off an actual honda teg. :eek2:
