"Wow, how'd you get it to work?"
"I ran a Physical Impulse Mechanical Stress Routine"
"Huh?"
"I kicked it."
"Ahh."

Actually I was going to ask what the hell it WAS, but I guess that explains it.

I remember... Wow, nice job... (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/smile.gif) I love the lighting, and the nebula too. Fits very well (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/smile.gif)

Actually, I have no idea what you are talking about.

Hmmm... That's the same mesh and textures as CAclark's CNV301 Dreadnought, and interestingly enough, released the same mesh at the same time... Hmmmm... Could be one and the same person. (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/smile.gif)

What kind of ship is that?!!?!?
-
Ok, for those of you who don't know about that ship, it's a Dreadnought class corvette from the game Independence War ("http://www.independencewar.com"). It's crew capacity is 49 (45 in the "hull" part, and 4 in the command section). The original 929 class Dreadnought was also named dreadnought.
stats:
Year: 2255
Class: Corvette
Unladen Tonnage: 184520 Tons
Crew: 45+4
Sub Vessels: Main hull (x1) Command module (x1) Accomodation modules (x2)
Fuel: Liquefied Fusion Premix
Propultion:
Plasma Thrusters for 6+ G's
Linear Displacement Drive System for interplanetary travel.
Capsule Drive System for Interstellar travel.
Weapons: 2 Particle Beam weapons (PBC's) mounted on a Gimble with a 20 degree angle, and ordanance for a various array for missiles.
Shields: Two displacement array shields mounted in a top/bottom arrangement.
Other notes: Has a Universal docking collar on both the top and bottom, The Accomodation modules (2) can accomodate a wide variety of modules, including Scientific and weaponry modules.
One last note... this is the ship you fly in the game. (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/smile.gif) Personally, I tend to love the Newtonian physics flight model of this game. They managed to capture the Newtonian physics model, while keeping it simple enough for good gameplay (unlike the old Frontier elite system which sometimes could be too daunting to play).

Neal, to correct a common error- The CNV-301's name and the name of the class is Dreadnaught, not Dreadnought. Just bein' picky (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/smile.gif)

People ask for crisps, but they only want parades.

Yea, I've always mispelled it. (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/smile.gif) Thanks for the heads up. (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/smile.gif)

Heh, you lucky dog. (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/smile.gif) I kinda wish he'd release stuff like that for PD use. If he does, please post his link. (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/wink.gif)
Neal.
