Post by: Fineus on December 31, 2004, 10:19:38 am: I do love the concept of this - the execution of it is also excellent although - since I'm going to try and be critical - it could look a little more 3D.

That is to say - a more gaseous nebula, you could play with that effect to have it really engulfing the planet in the lower left is if it were a spider eating its prey.

Of course - that's just my opinion. You're certainly coming along very nicely with Photoshop and I wouldn't have a clue where to start with making something of this calibre. Well done!

Also not to be nit picky but the lights on the dark side of the planet look a bit too dense.

The dark side of the planet has got some serious issues going on in terms of being a fully enclosed circle. :P

And please work on the moon. No offense, but it's simply a circle with a gradient. :/
