I don't know, if this is the right catergory.. but i didn't really know where i can post this Question.
My quick question is, to there is a possibility to chance the Color of the small "Downloading new Objectives..." HUD-Box?
I want to change this Color in White/Blue or so..
I have open the HCF Files with a Editor, but i don't find anything there
Thx 4 help...

Um... it's an image... just root through the vp file and you'll get to it.
-
That won't help... it's rendered in different colors by the game.
You ought to be able to change it in the player preferences somewhere.

Right, I'll step in here. Normally I wouldn't bother, 'cause I'm lazy, and this is practically a non-issue, but since Deepstar is apparently actively using an Amiga (see signature) I'm gonna be nice :D
That particular part of the HUD cannot be set from the options screen, and is basically hardcoded to the red it is in. It's no value defined in the HCF settings.
So, there. For the colour to be changed, you need someone to code in support for setting that colour like the other HUD parts. Or alternatively, you could hard code another colour value (which would be pretty stupid, however).

I thought it's possible to change this color with a (just invisible) Option, like in the other HUD Screens.
But i don't think, that you must Hard Code for this little thing.
Okay i'm didn't know much about coding and there i'm still use this Red Color.
But thx for the Info.

methinks it goes by the same thing as the collision tab.

Would make more sense to go along with the "objective completed" thing.

:nervous: i thought all of those were bundled into one...
