Hi, i used to play freespace and freespace 2 when freespace 2 hit the market.  ANyway i install the game now and then to bring back the memories.


Anyway i have a few questions

a) is there a site that list all possible mods for fs 2 and fs2 open?
b) freespace 3 DON'T Flame legit question

"At around End-July, further news has arrived that Derek Smart is deciding not to develop FS3. Further good news arrived when Daveb from V posted on the forums. It seems that ?v are going to talk to THQ about the current scene and the series."

since that was july and no updates to the page i am to take it that THQ said no, if so is is posted anywhere there reseaoning?

c)campaings so some at the top of one of these pages, is there  asite where i can find them all/others>

d) FED where a good guide for a noob regarding the mission editor?

Judging from 3) I assume you mean new ships, weapons etc. There is no site with everything on it. You might want to look at sectorfiles and hades-combine for a fair few though. (Don't have links I'm afraid).

As far as I know no one has heard from Dave B either way. It could be that they are all working on it in secret but I tend to doubt it.

Skippy's Campaign List (http://fs2.kissifrot.com/). All the campaigns for FS1 & 2. If it's not on there, it's probably not worth bothering with.

FRED2 comes with an excellent walkthrough which you can access through the help menu. After that have a look at the FAQ I've linked to below. Lots of useful information there. We take on newbie FREDders and in exchange for getting them to work on our particular campaigns we train them up.

Skippy's Campaign List (http://fs2.kissifrot.com/). All the campaigns for FS1 & 2. If it's not on there, it's probably not worth bothering with.

I think Icefire knows some people at :v: (Heh, the old smilies are back :thepimp: ), but I don't know if he's been in contact with them recently. Anyway, if they're working in secret, they're not likely to tell people. ;) Although I suppose if they were going to tell anyone, it would be us, as we're really the only FS community left...

Well, that happened for halflife2

As far as we know any one of us could walk into a 7-11 or ampm next summer and see a mysterious black magasine with the words "Freespace III" sprawled across the cover in silvery letters. Wishfull thinking though...

Cobra is a spammer on these forums and is labeled as an uber-noob just run a search on the name and open up some of his threads and you'll quickly see why we have a problem with him............ :nod:

Or just the silhouette of a Sath's arms (or something else equally iconic). Though I doubt it'd even get a front-page mention, TBH - FS2 didn't exactly sell well. They'd have to have a very good marketing campaign to get much attention at all in the face of all the crappy FPS and "Sims 14" adverts....

....though my bet is Cobra2 has nothing to do with über-noob. So issue...non-existant AFAIS.
