Guess the seller had a brainstorm defrosting his freezer, then.

I'll bet the high bidder was from Arizona...

I am Selling Authentic New York Snowballs! $1.00 Each!
The Snow is white! Really! No that's not the salt from the roads, either!
And if you have a sweet juice, you can pour it over the snowball and make a desert treat! :D

Don't the canucks eat snow with maple syrup? Or is that just propaganda...

I've heard that, too. We here in Merkinland prefer sweet syruppy drink mixes... Like Grape kool-aid with 1/4th the recomended amount of water added.

Howabout some good Bama mud? Will make it time someone bids.

I just walked for an hour through wet, slushy snow. By the time I got home, my feet were literally dripping and wet up to my knees.
Yeah, I'm real lucky.

heh i've never seen snow but i live in a subtropical area so it ain't gonna snow here unless theres another ice age, but i sure as hell wouldn't pay 20k for a snowball
-
I like snow - in moderation, but that is somewhat overpriced. I live on a small hill which is always 3 degrees or so colder than the rest of the suburbs, which improves the snow possibilities no end...

Super-condensed syrup. It's expensive as anything to do it, though, so it is really rare to have. Last time I had it I was 7 years old when I had a class trip to a sugar bush (place where they tap a bunch of maples to collect the sap for syrup) to learn how they made the stuff.

Wouldn't sublimation eventually occur, and the snowball disappear? :nervous:
