Did you use Lightwave for that?
Everytime I try I get the no textures problem... :/
How can you get the ships to show their textures?

Truespace 4.2
Without knowing Lightwave I can't say much...try checking to see if it has anything about UV mapping. If the model doesn't have UV set yet it won't show any textures.

Looks like something Mon Calamaris would construct. All the curves and such. Looks very organic.
Now if you would put some nice textures...
By the way, anybody tried makign a Yuuzhan Vong ship from the New Jedi Order series? Like a coralskipper or something?

Ships have to have textures if you want to see textures on them. (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/tongue.gif)

They do. I use 3d ex.(version 1.5.5) to import fs2 cobs of ships with textures to lwo format, and they show up in 3d ex with the textures, but not in lightwave. (version 6)

3d Ex - TOOLS - Flips faces then export.
Converted cobs have reverse faces and some 3d programs won't see the textures on the "inside" like 3d Ex will.

if your using LW6 like I think you said, then you need to go into the surface editor and make sure that every texture is using the UV mapping setting for the texes... I had similar probs (with models from another game [StarLancer]) until I figured out that I needed to go through all the texes and set them to UV mapping...
