Title: Anyway to use mod spacecraft in FRED2open?

Is there anyway to use mod spacecraft(like fs1port) in FRED2open?
I tryed

Import-weapon loadout

thing but it doesn't make any change.

FRED can easily use mods (how do you think we make missions with mods in? :D )

There are two ways to get FRED to notice a mod.

1) have the mod in the data folder or if it's a VP file put it in the main FS2 folder.
2) If you're running anything newer than 3.5.5 you can use -mod to make it treat that folder in the same way that FS2_Open treats mods in the launcher.

That's the best way to do it :) Rather than a single FRED icon I keep a folder with a bunch of icons for all the mods I'm working on. It makes things so much simpler :D
