Title: need help
Post by: Thrilla on January 11, 2005, 06:08:58 pm
I have lost my copy of disc 2 of FS2.  I've tried buying fs2 again.  And everytime I've tried to buy it off ebay i get out bidded at prices over $100.  I can get it used at amazon for $100, and they are the only people that have it and only 1 in stock.  I was just wondering if somebody here would be kind enough to save me $100 dollars and just burn me a copy of disc 2.  I really really really don't want to spend 100 dollars for disc 2 when I bought the whole game for $20 back in 99.  If somebody would be willing to send me a burned copy of disc 2 please PM me.  I'll pay you for any shipping costs.

- Thank you.

I hope this isn't considered pirating sorry if it is.  :(

You know, it's just like someone said in the General Freespace forum: so many FS2 CD's get 'lost' that the trashmen are probably rich in these things by now :D

hehehehe Well, I doubt my disc 2 would work these days, the Disc is 5 years old and scratched to hell :(

I just hope it never gets to the point where I have to re-install...

Underdogs is good for if you don't have the game at all and want to get it on a slow connecton.

Game Warden (http://www.game-warden.com/) is better for getting an ISO.

At least now I can play it.  But I would still like the CD so I can update it and use the FS_Open.  So if anybody would be nice enough to burn it for me please pm me.
