Now now, we have a good relationship with MT (last time I checked) so I don't think it's an entire MT problem. I have a good idea who it is but need Viper1000 to link me to what he's talking about to make sure.

Yeah I assume he's talking about Raa. We've noticed him do that several times here and at other forums like FS2 Sector. I have a list of the things he's said about us :p
It's not a MT thing it's a problem with him.

It's not a serious issue. I just like to poke fun at the fandom surrounding Inferno.
If I truly hated Inferno, I'd never had donated those few meshes I did. :)
Don't take me too seriously when I bash Inferno. It's all in jest. :D
Edit: If it bothers you guys so much, I'll stop. I never actually meant any harm. Didn't think I'd be taken seriously... And I guess as a representative of both the TVWP and MT, it's my responsibility to uphold a favourable image. So I do appologize. I meant no harm. I should make better use of the smily system sometimes. :(

Actually, since most of the R1 ships in Inferno are huge monstrosities with tens of textures, you rproblem is the lack of optimization.

FS2 Sector:
you people and your "I want 400 turrets" make me sick. Over the top is lame and uninteresting. It's what Inferno seems to be doing and it's a total turn off.

I personally don't really care anymore, but some of that doesn't seem to be in jest.
Edit: Like I said it doesn't really bother us anymore, we started ignoring it since you started doing it a few months ago. I'm posting this more so some people don't start a flamewar with MT for no reason :D

Ok.. the MT and TBP ones were jokes, but lacking smilies...
The one on Penguinbomb, well, err... Ok. That was a bit harsh. I don't dislike all of your ships, and to be honest I haven't really been keeping up with your newer models. So I really don't have ground to stand on for that claim. What I was basing it on were the models in R1 which were, well, lackluster, IMO.
The fs2 sector one again can be contributed to the above, where you had a 60Km killership that every n00b praised as the holy grail of modelling. I really hate it when all people want out of FS2 is a super large ship with as many turrets as the game can handle, and in comparison, any campaign that doesn't have that "isn't as good as Inferno." It's easy to pick on Inferno, since it has the largest following... but that's no exuse.
I really do sound like a horrible troll in that regard. I am wrong, and I do appologize. There will be no more from me. I swear it.
Edit: I'm surprised Nico was offended by that... he generally doesn't care what others think of his work, or so was the attitude he set forth. Either way, Nico is an incredibly talenteed modeller. I can only hope to be half as good as him. And I've told him that, before, I'm certain...

Ok no problem. However I will mention that after the 'The only things I like about it are the ships I made that are in it.' remark we felt the need to remove the EA freighter and the Kurruk, and we now have replacements for both so I don't intend on reverting back. This was done a few months ago after the first few comments came to light.
I myself or any member of the team don't hold anything against you though.
Anyway back to the good news, with the arrival of the last ship I can officially but a freeze on the ships included in the mod. Unless something comes up we don't plan on adding anything else new (except any HTL version of existing ships of course)
Once I get a chance I'll post the final count.

Ouch... but I deserve that, I guess.
Have you deleted those models, too? I no longer have them, having suffered so many HDD crashes, and would like to have had atleast a copy... If not... Ok.

Umm I might have them on a backup CD. I recently deleted some of the older stuff while sorting out the stand alone build. I'll have a look later.

Whoa my apologies. It was not my intent to start such a huge thing. I had just visited the MT forum and happened to notice a few thing and I was just wondering if Woo had realized this. Sorry for starting a huge discussion.

No... As painful as it is to read this thread, it cleared up quite alot. And stopped a problem.

i can honestly say that there is no problem with MT and Inferno. When raa wrote that we were laughing at the entire thread in MT. It wouldn't have mattered WHAT campaign it was that got mentioned, it would have had the same result.
As far as Raa hating Inferno and slamming it goes...in all of our conversations on instant messengers in some form or another, and there have been a great many, Raa has never once said anything bad about this campaign. Take that for what it's worth, but it is the truth of the matter.
My personal apologies to those who were offended or hurt by the carrying on in the Mt forum.
Now with that said...i have a problem with Inferno. This is not an MT wide problem nor is it a Raa problem. Mine is real and should be appeased immediately.
you see, the problem is.......
I'm waiting for the next installment. actually i am waiting for them all so that i can play them back to back.
