Needs either very good textures, or a bit more model detail.

I would suggest adding a bit more details to the model before starting to texture.

yea i agree with lighty, those big bulky wings blot out lot of detail, id either make them look really good, or lower their profile abit.

Well, that's certainly a lot of small detail.  It looks good though perhaps prohibitively high-poly for a game though.  Some of it is good, but all of the individual brown parts are verging on being something that should be dealt with by a texture.

Edit : seriously, try it without the lower missile pods, or turn the upper missile racks into engine parts.

put it into freelancer as a very heavy fighter. thats what it looks like to me. looks out of place in freespace...
