Post by: vyper on January 16, 2005, 06:32:03 pm: It was a classic 80's action movie. The music reminded you of Terminator and the characters were more masculine than they'll be in this one. It was never meant be intelligent, just good blasting fun.

Post by: aldo_14 on January 17, 2005, 03:34:26 am: The original was pretty much a zombie movie (or a template for one); doesn't look like this'll do that. Looks like they dropped a big aspect of the storyline from the first, too.

Post by: pyro-manic on January 17, 2005, 11:25:21 am: Bleh. The original (70s, not 80s, vyper :p) is a classic low-budget film, complete with dodgy hair and synth music. This could be good, but if it is it'll overshadow the original, which is very good. If it's bad, it'll pervert the legacy of the original. Either way, I'm not too happy....

EDIT: Argh, and they've changed too much! That's not Assault on Precinct 13 any more.... :doubt: And, yet again, they've told the entire story in the trailer. I won't be paying to see this....
