I just wanted to say that over the past to weeks i have kinda been "feeling out this place" and finally decided to become a member. I have been extremely impressed with this site and the amount of knowledge knowhow and advice that is available. When I was on a field trip in Washington DC 4 years ago, i had ten dollars at the end of a trip and bought freespace 2 on sale from a small store outside of town during lunch. It turned out to be one of my best investments. It led me to, the original freespace, then silent threat, and finally to user made campaigns. For the the past two years I have regularly visited the virtually extinct FreeSpace Watch site hoping for BlackWater Ops to be completed, finally my annoyance led me to do some searching and I found this place. I have been amazed by the amount of work and the tons of cool projects that are going on. There are some great people and personalities here, and I am looking to have a great time.

Welcome to the Hard Light Productions BB! Please make yourself at home and enjoy the scenic deep-space view! In case of emergency, flamethrowers are stored under your seat. Occasionaly, these may be filled with water, so the old shotguns are in a weapons locker. However, these may only be opened by an admin, so unless one is around, run around like a ninny in case of emergency!
In case you're in the air ducts, you may encounter a large spiderlike creature. This is only Carl, give him your lunch and he probably will leave you alone.
Once again, welcome, and enjoy your stay!

Welcome to Hard Light Productions enjoy your stay! Currently the admins are at war with Trolls and Spammers. Don't worry though if you encounter one (A troll or spammer) you can always bludgeon them with the flamethrowers, we are out of napalm at the moment so that is why. If you have a question use the search computer first. Also don't mention the words Freespace with the number 3 at the end, bad things happen.

On a side note if you ever venture into the airducts, you are bound to encounter Shivan entities, if its Carl just hand him your lunch.

Seriously, I recommend you check out the Babylon Project, they just released version 3.0 a week or two ago, and I can hardly think of a campaign that better shows off the copious amounts of kick-ass that go into every delicious bite of SCP enabled goodness.

Exits are to your right and left, and flamethrowers are under your seat. Be careful, though, as they are sometimes filled with water. If this is the case, try to club someone with the non-working shotguns in the weapon closet. Also, be careful while wandering the ventilation shafts. If you see a large, six-legged creature that looks really pissed, give him your lunch and he'll hopefully go away. In the event of an emergency, you can and will be used as a flotation device. The Plasma rifles in the forward locker are released only under authorization of an Admin, [V] God, and/or hyperintelligent shade of the color blue. Oh, and whatever you do, don't hit on Tiara, no matter how good of an idea it might seem.

Usually referred to as a pentacle (I'm pretty sure pentagram has more to do with math) :D Anyway, what the hell's going on in here?
