My friend is a bloody genius! His work is bloody amazing! I've managed to get him to work on some concept stuff for my movies, and so far his concept sketches are bloody amazing! You can check out his site here (http://www.dawnkill.com)

If you click on his Project folder, you'll see some concepts he's done for our little eternity film project. But heres a lovely little painting he did for a competition.

The whole idea he wanted to portray was that retro 80's sci-fi hero cliché flick. I think he's done a good job.

apart from the anatomy (guys' legs should not be able to do that, the chick's face looks distorted) i have nothing to pick. tell your friend he rocks like leonardo.

Aside from the half-naked chick, it's pretty good. Though i can spot a few minor faults in the body proportions, a rather rushed looking forest in the background (which are nothing more then blips) and the smoke coming from the city which is completely disproportionate.

Also, since when does smoke go from light-ish to dark? Smoke would go from dense and dark to lighter after it starts to thin out. And if the forest is on fire, where *is* the fire?

Sorry I like ti nitpick a bit. :p Still awesome work though. :)

Look more like Minbari ships to me. I'm more interested in that Y shaped ship in the foreground.
