Found this over on the Inquirer. Seems that she was a bit angry after he broke up with her, and is now facing criminal charges...

Well, if the game(s) were the cause of the break up, then it serves him right. You must realize that the data had immense value because of the amount of time that was used in their creation.
It said they met in the game though, it seems to me that she should have made him an arch-enemy or something and been persisitant in killing him in the game then he would have gotten sick of it and stopped playing.

Hell hath no Fury... ;)

FUK-U-SHIMA
Sorry... :p

:blah:
-
...What did Admiral Shima ever do to you Tiara? :p
Sure for a while she was the other girl in TCO's life but... still...

:blah: :blah:

Either you are being sarcastic or didn't read the article very well. :p
Ow, and what Admiral Shima are you talking about? Unless he had a sex-change, Admiral Shima was at the Battle for Leyte Gulf during WWII :p

He also helped fight Napoleon in my head and was the prime advocate for a tyranically-based concious-dominant system of governance for my subconscious.
Personally I think my concious mind bribed him with promises of stripper fantasies and pirate adventures - but in the end he lay slain in the gutter, behind a memory of a porn movie.
Some say my Ego and Ambition put a price on his head after the whole 'mental democracy' thing fell through - but I have a sneaking suspicion he's hiding out in my suspicion-center.

Sadly enough, there's actually legal precident for property rights involving virtual "possessions" in these MMORPGs. How or why I don't know, but this isn't the first time I've seen something like this.
-
Meh, serves him right for playing an MMORPG. :p
But I don't feel for the woman either. Not positively, anyway. Going by the article, all he did was break up with her...painful as it may be, it seems better to me than staying in a dead-end relationship.

I was being sarcastic and I'm surprised no one has caught the blatant FS1 reference I made :p
-
She should've swapped his weapons and stuff for useless crap lol.
-
Saw this on Slashdot earlier. I roofled. Yes, it was a bit extreme, but it was his own damn fault.

She was the CO of the GTD Bastion in FS1....
EDIT @ Ace: I caught it, but I didn't exactly check this thread with anything resembling timeliness. Sarnathed once again...
