woh is me :(
and for some reason the forums are unreadable with the background and text all white on this PoS computer I'm useing right now.
-
I would suggest using an alternate browser, such as Firefox, but from your post I doubt you could read this.
-
I thought Monday was supposed to be the Bad Day...
-
bleh, sorry to hear, bobb.
and he can still highlight it, i think... >_> cant he?
-
that sucks i hope you didnt loose the animation code.
-
I'v regained some sembelece of controle back, I aparently never removed the previus install, this may temporaraly alow me some capability to use my computer for a while, but I need to find those disks.

i learned a long time ago not to update windows and infact install as little of it as possible, using 3rd party applications for as much stuff as possible.
-
My plan to use W2K on the computer I'm building over the summer gains more support....

Like I say, the secret to using Windows is to use as little of it as possible.

Glad things aren't totally messed up, but is that the wisest/most reliable place to put your backups?
-
dont worry im keeping a copy, i designed that last shiip to use it :D
-
well I figured a few people would download it, and the Vwatch servers have never let me down, I'm realy starting to wonder if they will ever cach on that I've been useing there FTP server as my own personal upload space for years with little to show for it.
-
Well, the domain expires soon IIRC so i wonder what they will end up doing about that.
-
You could still access it using the IP address.
-
if the domain expires Ill pester someone at HLP to get me an FTP accound again, the only reason I haven't got one now is becase the BWO FTP was still running and I didn't feel like going through the hassle of getting gamespy's FTP working for me.
and one good thing about this whole ordeal is I've finaly moved over to firefox.
-
oh, yeah and I found my install disk
-
I'm trying to find my dildo. Can you help me with that?;)
-
...have you looked in your ass?
what would people recomend as a WMP alternative?
sence I'm spending all this time reinstalling everything I might as well remove all the default software this time
-
Winamp 5. :p 'Capsule' is a pretty good skin (Doesn't seem to be on winamp.com tho)
If you're feeling particularly MS-hating, there's also Geoshell (www.geoshell.com/)
-
Media Player Classic. Get it off sourceforge. :)
Or VLC media player. Plays pretty much anything.
-
I prefer Media Player Classic for movies and sound clips, and iTunes for music.
-
I do have VLC, but it's controles are a little unintuitive IMO, though I do like utilitarian designs. I use VLC for files I otherwise can't get open, and has only rarely let me down. but it isn't good for a general media player unfortunately.
and I would like a tv tuner software alternative from the ATI standard (becase they suck, but also becase the installer refuses to work)
-
General Video playing = VLC and Media Player Classic
General Audio playing = foobar
-
hey were was the most recent version of VPview model view and aniview?
