Title: tax forms and writeoffs

wtf is the difference between the 1024 form and the 1024A form? last year i used the 1024 (i couldnt use the 1024ez cause i had student loan intrest to deduct) and im not sure if id be better off using the a form this year.

i know how to write off student loan intrest, but how do i deduct work related expenses? i had to buy $200 worth of tools for my job and i want to write them off, but im not sure how.

Do what my uncle did: 'Sell' everything you own to your friends and family for £1 to stop the Govt. seizing it, then **** off to Cyprus and start a new life.

the thing is uncle sam ows me in excess of a thousand dollars and ineed i intend to get every cent of it back :D
